Balsamic Berry Blast

Balsamic Berry Blast

So, most of us always go for a fruit salad for desert when we’re hosting dinners or lunches right? Its healthy, yummy, and it most always is the popular desert. But lets face it, don’t you sometimes wish there was some sort of twist or turn that can spice up your fruits.

Here it is, the Balsamic Berry Blast. So this works best with a berry salad. Whatever you find at your market. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, etc… Cut the strawberries in half (if they’re big) but most of the other berries can be left as is. I also like to add pomegranate seeds. Toss them into a bowl with 2 TB balsamic vinegar and 1 tp brown sugar. Drizzle honey on the top and garnish with mint leaves.

It’s a nice change and a good way to get all those antioxidants in. If you’re feeling adventurous you can toss some chia seeds and gogi berries. Your guests will love it.
