Baba Ghannouj has a sweet memory from my childhood. I spent one summer with my uncle in Queensland when I was around 11 years old. He had a homemade business where he prepared traditional Lebanese dips and sold them in wholesale to markets around town. […]
I have no idea why I haven’t made these fries before! No, like you are seriously missing out if you haven’t baked sweet potatoes yet! I bought 2 sweet potatoes last week and have been thinking of ways to cook them ever since, should I […]
I always buy kale and end up making the same thing —> Kale Power Juice (find it in the Recipe Index). And I love it! But I felt like actually eating the kale and to be honest Kale Salad just wasn’t doing it for me…
So I grabbed my Kale out of the fridge and sliced out the stalk and I ripped the leaves into large pieces. I washed them really well and left them to dry really really well (crucial step).
Next I finally took out the coconut oil that I had been waiting desperately to use in some recipe! And I massaged the leaves really well. Yes I massaged the leaves until I felt they were coated well enough. Then I sprinkled all of my spices and yeast and massaged really well again.
Next I placed them on baking sheet and baked for 7-8 M (depending on your oven). I let them to cool for 5 M and just snacked away. Loved them, will make them again for sure! I’m thinking of snacking on them with Labneh too 🙂

Step 4 Massage all ingredients really well and put in the rest of the coconut oil and sprinkle on the rest of the yeast.
Step 5 Spread on a baking sheet on a tray and bake for 7-8 M depending on your oven and preference, may take a little longer so check on them. Make sure they have dried up before taking them out
I'm so excited to finally be sharing with you my true passion! It took me so long to figure out what it was that I love doing in life. And just like that, literally overnight, my world flipped and everything in this world became so colorful. I see color more vividly now, I notice light more. I have always loved colors, but the colors that are displayed through nature are my favorite :). I really hope you enjoy following me on my journey as I capture the most beautiful food in the most beautiful light...
